Q: Are there fireplaces in all units?
A: Yes. Each unit has a fireplace. Care must be taken to follow the instructions for use, namely that the flue is open before lighting a fire. We strongly suggest using ecological logs. You can pick them up at the Reception at the cost of $ 5 plus taxes. They have an expected duration of more than 1.5 hours.
Q: Are there BBQs in all units?
A: Yes. We provide free gas tanks between Victoria Day (late May) and Canadian Thanksgiving (early October). For the rest of the year, as the terraces and balconies are not cleared of snow, the service is interrupted. In case your bottle is empty during your stay, we ask you to bring the empty bottle to the Reception and our agents will be happy to exchange it for a full.
Q: Are there whirlpools in all units?
A: Yes. However, it must be ensured that the bath is well filled before activating the start button. Also, do not forget to activate the wall switch.
Q: Is there a shuttle bus to Mont-Tremblant station?
A: Yes. It is only available during the winter during peak periods, such as weekends, holidays and school break weeks. Please check with the Reception for the exact schedule. It's an Express Shuttle that takes passengers to eight well-identified stations along the main path of Cap Tremblant and goes directly in less than 10 minutes to the Mont-Tremblant ski center. The frequency is 40 minutes from 7:40 until 17:20. There is a break on dinner time.
Q: What supplies are included in the condos?
A: All bedding and towels (white for indoor and blue for outdoor water facilities) are provided as well as cleaning products such as dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap and dish cloths; all crockery and cooking items are included as well as a filter coffee maker (a starter kit for four is included). We do not provide condiments like salt and pepper or paper towels. You must bring your coffee and your filters. Do not hesitate to contact the Reception if you miss anything, our maintenance team will be happy to bring you everything you need (except fondue dishes).
Q: It is stated that one bedroom condos can accommodate four people in a Queen bed and a sofa bed. What about sofa beds for adults?
A: The sofa beds are double and fit very well for two children but not so good for teenagers and even worse for adults considering that the mattress is only three inches thick and is not so comfortable. We strongly suggest booking a two bedroom condo for a small fee if you are four adults.
Q: Are aquatic facilities open year-round?
A: Schedules vary according to the time of year. The Country Club's Jacuzzi is open year-round and the swimming pool during the summer months for the benefit of children and adults. With private functions, access may be limited. In general, the two other pavilions on the Cap Tremblant site are open during the summer season (the Pavilion du Lac for adults only) and the Ocean Pavilion with its two Jacuzzis and its small swimming pool is also open during the winter season. Please check with Reception for specific times.
Q: Is there air conditioning?
A: No There is no air conditioning because hot nights are relatively rare. The average temperature of summer nights is below 18 degrees Celsius. The units have been designed for maximum aeration from one end to the other. In addition, each room has a ceiling fan and additional floor fans are available on request. Clients are advised to leave windows and patio doors (all with mosquito nets) open at night and closed during the day to keep the freshness generated during the night.
Q: Are carpets washed regularly?
A: They are thoroughly washed with a steam engine twice a year in the spring and fall. A sweeper is also passed between each stay. If you notice any deficiencies, do not hesitate to contact Reception so that the housekeeping team can make the necessary corrections.
Q: Where is the list of available television channels?
A: All TVs are now HD and the list of available channels (including Super Écran movie channels and The Movie Network) can be found in the Hotel directory, which can be found either on the living room table or on the kitchen counter.
