Mont Tremblant Resort, thought of as primarily a ski resort, is actually a year-round resort, full of activities in every season, one and a half hours north of Montreal. The area has a beautiful national park, Mont Tremblant National Park, which boasts some 500 lakes, streams and rivers.

The village of Mont Tremblant merged with athe village of St-Jofivte, and is the #1 Ski Resort in Eastern North America (Ski Magazine). Part of the Laurentian mountains, it’s highest peak is 875 meters (3,150 feet). This makes it one of the tallest peaks in this mountain range, just below Mont Raoul Blanchard, with is 1166 meters.

At the foot of Mont Tremont is a quaint pedestrian village festooned with cheerful shops, flavorful restaurants and joyful pubs. The people tend to be extremely friendly, living up to the fine hospitality the area is known for.

Tremblant Accommodations

Where to stay in Tremblant is only limited by your budget and your imagination. There are so many options available, from private owners to established hotels, eg:

Chalets: One of the most fanciful options, many of the chalets in Tremblant are located near water. There are over 500 lakes, streams and rivers in the area, so it’s not hard to find waterfront property for your stay if that is what you desire.

Bed and Breakfasts: A more cozy option than chalets, the bed and breakfasts in Tremblant are usually privately owned. Owners go all out to make sure your stay is pleasing, providing the same attention to detail you would find in an area hotel. Many offer on-premise meals, sometimes made with herbs from gardens on the property.

Luxury Resorts: There are several in the area, like the Wyndham Cap Tremblant Mountain Resort, which sits on 200 acres of pristine property. With 175 private residences, tennis courts, golf courts, on-site spas, pools, water slides and more, there’s no reason for you to leave.

Many of the accommodations in luxury resorts are rented by private owners. As you still have access to the resort’s amenities, they make very suitable vacation rentals.

Tremblant Activities: Tremblant offers activities for every season. In the summer you might try horseback riding, golfing, tennis, nature hiking, biking or swimming. In the winter, there’s skiing, snowmobiling, snow tubing, snow shoeing and more.

For relaxing indoors, try any of the area spas and take advantage of Swedish massages, reflexology, or facials. Indoors or out, winter, spring, summer or fall, there’s always something to do in Tremblant.
